So I had Double hit lymphoma its a form of non hodgkin’s lymphoma. It is a type of diffuse large B cell lymphoma and it’s hard to treat. Double and triple hit lymphomas make up less than 10% of lymphoma cases. Therefore’ it is difficult to find stories of survival, other than complex medical articles about the subject. Having cancer is scary enough but having a type of cancer that is rare and hard to find support for, makes it even scarier. I hope to be a source of hope and insight for people struggling with this disease. I plan to share my experience going through cancer treatment and all the ups and downs that go with it. It’s been a year since my last treatment and although I have mixed feelings about reliving all this through writing I feel like it’s important for me to share my story.
